A good DMZ run starts before you open the first container. Sure, it's tempting to grab anything shiny, but a packed bag won't help much if you're out of plates halfway to extraction. I like to go in with a rough idea of what I need, then adjust when the map gets messy. Some players use CoD MW4 Bot Lobbies to work on aim and movement before taking on tougher fights. Whatever your practice routine looks like, the same rule applies once you're looting: leave enough room for the stuff that keeps you alive.

Build Your Bag Around the Objective

Check your active tasks before you start picking things up. An ordinary object might be the one item you need to extract for a mission, while something that looks valuable might only take up space. If you're playing with a squad, say what you're looking for. Someone else might spot it first, or they might already have room to carry it. That saves the awkward moment where everyone assumes someone else picked it up. Keep an eye on your task progress too. Finding an item and completing the objective aren't always the same thing; some tasks require you to leave with it.

After mission items, make room for armor, ammunition and whatever recovery equipment is available in the mode you're playing. Don't grab every ammo stack you see. Look at your weapons first, then take what you'll actually use. A larger backpack can make these decisions easier, but it doesn't mean you should fill every slot immediately. Leave a little space for a useful find later in the run. And if a teammate is low on supplies, sharing a spare can be worth more than carrying another item you'll probably sell.

Make Quick Decisions at the Loot Screen

1. Keep items required by your active tasks.

2. Replace used armor and ammunition when you find them.

3. Use spare space for valuables you can safely extract.

Reality check: I've spent far too long sorting a bag while the rest of the squad was already moving.

What Deserves the Space

The right choice changes with the run. Here's a quick way to think about common pickups when your bag is nearly full. It isn't a fixed price guide; your mission and current supplies matter more than a neat ranking.

Item type   Keep it when   Consider leaving it when
Mission item   An active task needs it   The task is complete
Armor and ammo   Your supplies are running low   You have enough for the route out
Sale item   You have spare room   A mission item needs the slot

That last swap can sting when the sale item looks rare. Still, if the objective is why you entered the raid, it's usually worth protecting that slot. You can look for more valuables on another run.

A Question That Comes Up a Lot

A teammate asked me whether it's worth searching one more guarded building after finding the item we needed. We had room in our bags, but we'd already used most of our plates.

I'd head out. Extra loot is nice, but getting the mission item home matters more. Restock and come back another time.

Know When to Leave

Before moving toward extraction, take a second to check your route and listen for nearby fights. Use cover where you can, reload before the next encounter, and don't leave the squad behind just to open one more container. If you've finished the task and still have enough supplies, you might decide there's time for a short detour. Just agree on it first. For players comparing cheap CoD MW4 DMZ Items, it's worth checking exactly what's included and whether it fits their own progression goals. Either way, the best run isn't necessarily the one with the fullest bag. It's the one where you get out with what you came for.
